Summary:
Account Manager will be responsible for maintaining and growing accounts as well as creating new business opportunities through extensive knowledge and understanding of our products, services, systems, policies and procedures. Excellent organization, customer service, selling, and follow up skills are vital to success in this position.
Duties:
• Answer incoming calls during the assigned phone shift.
• Check website for orders every day.
• Process ASI Transaction orders.
• Handle catalog requests from customers.
• Import and assist with tradeshow leads.
• Process incoming purchase orders throughout the day.
• Track number issues worked through Purchasing.
• Make proactive outbound phone calls for follow-up and/or sales initiation for leads, sample requests, tradeshow leads and web catalogue/sample requests.
• Document accounts properly to ensure that follow up and relationship building is more effective.
Skills Needed:
• Promotional product experience required.
• Accurate typing skills, 50 wpm minimum.
• Ability to multi-task and change direction quickly.
• Prior experience in sales.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communications.
• Ability to probe and leverage past orders to upsell new product offerings.
